Hi There You! I am a hard critique, movies especially. When I watch film. I look at the movie set (clothes, props, realism, etc.), acting, directing, and producing. Once I saw a pretty good movie, but I got stuck in all the bad splicing. I gave it a big thumbs down. When the scene is choppy or misfited, it's DONE. I watch the background all the time. I watch the scene over and over just to see if the timing of the parts of the background scene support the main scene.
Stunts need to be done with precision. The timing and the invisibility of stunt props are second two most important parts. I love to see expression on film in all areas. Film is an art. Movies are film. When we watch, we watch art.
